Last day in Paris

We are sitting in the airport waiting for the for out flight out of Paris. Eleven hours, that is how long we will sit on the first plane. Three hour layover, another three plus hour flight to Salt Lake, and finally an hour and a half drive home. Whew! It will be totally worth it to see my kids again. I do miss them so.

Yesterday was a relaxing day. The weather was perfect in Paris and we spent most of our day just wandering, shopping, and eating. After packing and face timing with the kids we spent the rest of the evening out. Here is what we accomplished:

A beautiful walk through the Luxembourg Gardens. People here love to lounge in the park, along the river, and pretty much everywhere else.

Grabbed some DElicious Italian gelato, again. Ate under the shade of a big tree. Left after I was pooped on by a stupid French pigeon! Say it with me, "Eewwwee!"

Took a boat ride up and down the Seine river. Very fun way to end our adventure.

This bridge is cute because couples hang small locks with their initials engraved on it on the fence. There are thousands of them.

Cannot get enough of this tower. It's incredible!

Walked back over to our old neighborhood on Rue Cler to eat dinner. We do love this neighborhood. Then bought more of that blessed gelato for our last dessert in France.

This morning we grabbed our last pastry for breakfast and headed to the airport. So far all has gone smoothly. I pray it will continue that way throughout this very long day. :)

Thanks for following our blog and sharing in our adventures.

If I remember I will post a funny story about the subject below. If I forget, have one of us tell you. It's classic.

Love to all. Au Revoir!
